This relatively straightforward trek offers its participants a chance to get close and personal with the wild nature of the lake and its surrounding mountains for just a few days. There are no high paths or bridgeless river crossings, however the well-marked trek will take you through the depth of taiga to breathtaking viewing spots along the lake's south-eastern shore. It stops in a traditional old style settlement of Bolshoe Gloustnoe.
Nothing can quite compare to watching the sunset in the open wildness, frying some food on the open fire next to the calmness of the night waters and then settling in a tent for a night under the stars.
