Our first tour is a general sightseeing tour which provides a superb taste of what Kamchatka has to offer. You will switch activities and means of transportation almost every day. Just look at this itinerary! For the first three days you will enjoy a rafting and fishing experience down one of Kamchatka's spectacular mountain rivers. You will see high rocks coming close to the river banks, thick forests of dwarf cedar, stone birch and shrubbery of giant grasses. Keep your eyes open to catch a glimpse of a bear or a white eagle soaring in the sky. You will also take an exiting helicopter flight to the Nalychevo National Park, famous for its snow-capped volcanoes four of which are still very active. After observing some of the volcanoes from the helicopter and bathing in the thermal springs at Nalychevo Valley we get a thrilling ride in a 6WD vehicle to the foot of the Avacha volcano to make an ascent on the following day. Whether your legs are tired after trekking or not, you will definitely appreciate a relaxing day on a boat around Avacha Bay. Our boat will take you to the mouth of the bay for some excellent views of surrounding volcanoes reflecting in the waters, and the noisy bird colonies with many guillemots, puffins, seagulls, cormorants, ducks and sea eagles. Finally we will explore the rich flora inside the craters of the Mutnovsky and Gorely volcanoes which are situated south of Petropavlovsk. You will see the active funnel and the acid lake inside the crater as well as steaming fumaroles, boiling mud pots and glaciers, that will leave you with the indelible impression of the volcanic majesty.
