The itinerary of this tour will take you to an amazing Nalychevo national park. It is famous for its surrounding snow-capped volcanoes and plentiful natural treasures, such as rivers full of salmon, mineral and thermal springs, rich vegetation and abundant wildlife. There are ten volcanoes concentrated in the area of the park, of which four biggest ones are still smoking away. You may be pleased to know that this route is accessible by any tourist without previous trekking experience, and most nights in the wild are spent in comfortable wooden lodges rather than tents. All the trekking is done using good paths and marked routes. At the start of the trip there is an opportunity to ascend an Avachinsky active volcano, for an experience of lifetime and breathtaking scenery. During this tour you will also see picturesque landscapes, glaciers and waterfalls; walk though birch forests, tundra, high grasses and small ravines. You will appreciate the favorable micro-climate in the park and the panorama of Avacha group of volcanoes and Nalychevo Valley will surely amaze you. Finally this is a chance to relax and enjoy numerous thermal springs with their stunning surroundings and different healing capabilities.

DAY 1

Transfer to Petropavlovsk. City tour with a Museum visit. City hotel overnight accommodation.

DAY 2

Drive to the foot of Avacha Volcano (2,5 hrs). Overnight in wooden huts of a tourist camp set at the altitude of 950 m.

DAY 3

Ascent the Avacha volcano (2750 m, 6-7 hrs). Enjoy breathtaking views. Overnight in a tourist camp.

DAY 4

Trek by Camel mount over Avachinsky pass (1100 m) towards Koryakskiye springs (14 km in total). Overnight in tents.

DAY 5

Trek to the valley of Shumnaya river. Cross rivers with hanging bridges. Enjoy waterfalls panorama and bathe in Tischinskiye healing springs. Overnight in tents.

DAY 6

Trek to the Nalychevskie thermal springs (14 km). Bathe at the springs. Overnight in wooden lodges.

DAY 7

Resting day. Visit the local museum. Relax at the thermal springs. Overnight in a wooden lodge.

DAY 8

Go over Pinachevsky Pass (1160 m) with stunning views of the volcanoes. Hike in the river valley to Semenov Priyut (5 hrs). Overnight in a lodge.

DAY 9

Trek to Pinachevo Village (5 hrs). Drive back to Petropavlovsk (2,5 hrs). A farewell dinner in a city restaurant. Hotel accommodation.

DAY 10

Visit the souvenir and sea food market in the morning. Transfer to the airport for your departure home.
