More then 14.000 rivers and creeks full of fish make Kamchatka a really fascinating destination for a fisherman with any level of experience and high expectations. On this tour you will experience challenging and varied fishing, floating down crystal clear waters of this mountain river surrounded by stunning scenery of volcanic landscapes. This tour will take you floating and fishing down beautiful Bolshaya river west of Petropavlovsk. It is one of the most accessible rivers both in distance and road facilities. Every year pacific salmon migrates up to Bolshaya river, to spawn in its tributaries and mainstream. There are five species of salmon alone, as well as plentiful char, kundzha, rainbow trout, grayling all are available throughout the season. Our guests specialize on fly-fishing as well as spin and bait casting. The salmon come into the river in their hundreds of thousands, so the fishing is at times shared with some of the areas locals, like the brown bears!



DAY 1

Transfer to Petropavlovsk. City tour with a museum visit. City hotel overnight accommodation.

DAY 2

Drive to the starting point of the river floating trip. Camp on the river bank. Check and prepare for the trip. Overnight in tents.

DAY 3-7

Float down the Bolshaya Bystraya river. Explore crystal clear waters searching the best spots for fishing. Visit nearby thermal springs and sights of interest. Make stops and short side trips to admire the scenery. Camp by the fire on the river banks spending nights in tents.


DAY 8

Finish the floating. Dry and pack the rafts. Drive to the thermal springs. Return to the city. Farewell diner in local restaurant. Overnight in the city hotel.

DAY 9

Visit the souvenir shops in the morning. Transfer to the airport for your departure home.
